Somali based Terror group Al Shabaab conducted attacks targeting Somali government’s security agencies.
On Sunday, the terror group attempted to breach the National Security Intelligence Agency (NISA) headquarters in Mogadishu.
In the attack some agents were killed though all attackers neutralized by the NISA building guards.
Al Shabaab started terror activities at the start of the holy month of Ramadhan.
Intelligence services in Kenya warned of possible suicide attacks targeting security and civilian targets in Kenya and Somalia.
The surge in terrorism is a critical detection point. It shows the security agencies and AMISOM need to redesign their strategy to preempt militancy and stem the surge.
