Terror Suspect Linked to Killing an Intelligence Officer Nabbed in Mombasa

SECURITY BRIEF

Friday 8th January 2016, Latest police report indicate that a wanted terror suspect linked to NIS officer’s murder was arrested in Mombasa.

The terror suspect identified as Ikirima Shosi is believed to be linked in the killing of the Intelligence offer in July 2015 in Mombasa.

Police report say that they have been hunting down Ikirima Shosi and his accomplices, and on Thursday 7th January 2016, Shosi was arrested at a Mombasa night club, Mombasa Urban CID boss Nangulu Zack confirmed on Friday.

Shoshi will be interrogated by CID detectives including ATPU officers to get lead information on the whereabouts of his brother Ismael Shosi sought by ATPU on counts of terrorism activities in Mombasa.
