Tanzania suffered a terror attack on Sunday after a bomb ripped through a bar packed with patrons watching football, intelligence sources confirm.
More than 15 people sustained serious injuries and eleven are admitted in a hospital at Mount Meru Regional Hospital in Arusha.
The bar, Arusha Night Park bar, was bombed using an improvised explosives device which was parked inside the bar.
Police have been combing the area and profiling suspected terror cells who may have staged or facilitated the staging of the deadly attack.
The country which is relatively peaceful has in the recent past faced terror attacks with some attacks targeting churches.
The Arusha Night Park bar lies near the Arusha -Namanga road and is very popular with travelers.
