Tanzanian terror police have in custody several Al-Shabaab terror suspects accused of involvement in terrorism, abetting related crimes, and facilitating recruitment of youths to join the Somalia terror suspects.
In their custody is a radicalized youth named Abdallah Maginga who has accused the Tanzanian police of torture.
Another terror suspect is Abdallah Thabit who has also accused the authorities in Tanzania of torture in cells.
The torture allegations are deemed Islamists propaganda aimed at stoking emotions and radicalize more youths.
Tanzania has suffered terror attacks particularly in Arusha region near it border with Kenya.
