A plan by the Taliban terrorist fighters to attack and capture the eastern Laghman province was foiled by the Afghan a security forces on Monday 13/3/2017.
The terror group had planned to capture the province after they suffered heavy casualties during the ongoing counter-terrorism operations.
The provincial government media office in a statement confirmed that top Taliban leaders and commanders who had been deployed to execute managed to escape along with scores of terrorists after the Afghan forces in coordination with the provincial government successfully thwarted their groups plan.
