The Islamic State’s (ISIS) last positions inside the Yarmouk Camp District and Hajar Al-Aswad were destroyed after the Syrian Arab Army resumed their large-scale offensive in Southern Damascus, Tuesday.
The Syrian Arab Army, led by their 42nd Brigade (4th Division) and 105th Brigade (Republican Guard ), scored a new advance inside the northern part of Hajar Al-Aswad resulting to the liberation of several buildings that were held by the Islamic State Terrorists.
In addition to advancing in Hajar Al-Aswad, the Syrian Army heavily shelled the Islamic State’s positions inside Yarmouk Camp. Plans to storm the imperative district in southern Damascus are underway.
