The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) is preparing to commence their last major offensive against the Islamic State (ISIS), as more reinforcements reach the eastern countryside of the Deir Ezzor Governorate in eastern Syria. Led by their elite arm referred to as Republican Guard, SAA has been heavily striking ISIS’ positions in the Badiya Al-Sham region of the Deir Ezzor Governorate.
Also, the Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) has been launching a number of air assaults over this region, while cavalries continue to safely travel along the highway to the cities of Al-Mayadeen and Albukamal.
The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are have been effusively launching offensives to capture the key town of Hajjin, which is believed to be the Islamic State’s last major stronghold in Syria. The simultaneous attacks on the Islamic State in Syria is a clear indicator of the commitment by all parties to end the war in Syria and restore security and stability of what was a previously vibrant Middle Eastern State. The offensive being orchestrated by SAA is very critical as it will ensure the complete liberation from ISIS militants.
