A suspected M-Pesa shops robbers was killed in Kamukunji in Nairobi. The slain individual was described by police as notorious for raiding M-Pesa shops in the said area.
The assailant who has been on police radar was shot dead as he attempted to rob an M-Pesa shop in Kamukunji business district of Nairobi.
According to the police, the suspect, in the company of three accomplices, had tried to rob an M-Pesa shop when an alarm was raised. His accomplices managed to escape on foot.
Nairobi police boss Japheth Koome confirmed that the man was wanted for at least six robberies on M-Pesa shops in the area.
