A suspected IED bomb has been recovered in Nairobi’s Eastleigh on 11th street , second avenue according to the latest security briefs.
A team of bomb experts have already arrived at the scene where they are examining the metallic device suspected to be an IED.
Initial reports from Starehe CID boss, Kiberenge Seroney, a woman is alleged to have dropped an object wrapped in a paper bag and when police conducting their patrols order her to stop she fled.
Police secured the place until the bomb experts arrived
The incident happened on Tuesday 12th January 2016 at around 1 a.m.

The militants usually target crowded places to cause massive casualties when the IED bomb detonates and Eastleigh is a major target citing its a busy business surburb.
