Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) on Sunday accused the Sudanese Government of failing to comply with the Cease-Fire agreement in Blue Nile State.
According to a Statement by Mubarak Ardol the spokesperson for SPLM, the government attacked the group’s positions in the Blue Nile.
In a one-hour battle, the movement’s forces repulsed the government troops on Saturday morning in Al-Rum area in Blue Nile.
Despite the Cease-Fire agreement, the SPLM/Northern Sector has been fighting the Khartoum Government in South Kordofan and Blue Nile states since 2011.
