Saturday 10th October 2015, At least 95 people were killed and 190 others left injured in the deadliest terrorist attack in the history of the Turkish republic.
Somalia Prime Minister Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke in a press statement conveyed condolence message to the President, Government and the people of Turkey following Saturday’s two terrorist attacks in the city of Ankara.
Through the statement, Mr Sharmarke said that Somalia government strongly pledges its support and loyalty to the Government and the people of Turkey at this time of tragedy and wished the injured people quick recovery.
Turkey which is an ally of the Somalia government has suffered attacks from Islamic State and PKK insurgents.
Turkey continues to support Somalia in humanitarian aid feeding thousands of Somali citizenry. Ankara is engaged in various projects notably it is building hospitals across Somalia.
