Somalia army backed by AMISOM forces set to intensify the ongoing security swoop in Hudur town locality. According to deputy commissioner of Hudur town Mustaf Aden Hussein, the joint military operations aimed to weed out the remnants of Al Shabaab militants.
Mr. Hussein added that the military operation is an ongoing routine aimed at dismantling criminal networks who orchestrate acts of terror in the outskirts of Hudur town for the past few weeks.
These operations normally are targeting the Al Qaeda affiliated Al Shabaab fighters who recently attacked Hudur town, the capital of Bakol region.
Bakol region is believed to be fertile of Al Shabaab hideouts prompting the government troops security operations to continue battling the militants until peace and normalcy returns in the region.
