The President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on Sunday 6th September, 2015 demonstrated his confidence in the capability of regional backed Somali National Army in fighting militants.
He said the Somali people should trust the efforts of the country’s military in edging out remnant members of the Harakat Al Shabaab Al Mujahideen rag tag.
President Mohamud called for boosting military offensive against Al Shabaab militants. He acknowledged the efforts of the ongoing operation Juba Corridor saying that with time, all the militants will be wiped out of Somalia with the operation.
Summary
Remnants of the Al Qaeda linked to Al Shabaab militants still control a number of their strongholds in rural areas in the country. The militants have stage attacks on civilians in Somalia, cutting them from essential supplies and placing them in vulnerability. However, authorities have been able to counter all this by constructing infrastructure between key towns to facilitate transportation of supplies to the affected civilians.

True lies! All Somalians including the president is against AMISOM presence in somalia. I wish you could understand their language. They jointly carry out raids on AMISOM then after it they pretend to be working with AMISOM. Leave the Somalia problem with Somalias it is their way of life.
