Somali National Army (SNA) in an operation killed 8 Al-Shabaab terrorist and injured several others at an area near Berhano in Lower Jubba region of southern Somalia.
According to Somali National Army Commander, Gen. Ali Bashi and referenced by Somalia National News Agency (SONNA), the successful operation was conducted by SNA’s Commandos (Danab) on Tuesday night.
SNA and AMISOM have intensified operations across all sectors in Somalia as the country nears to the polls in an effort to make sure Al-Shabaab does not interrupt the electoral process.
