Military troops in Somalia have another urgent assignment at hand. Al Shabaab militants have blockades on several towns especially in the country’s Hiiran region, residents are faced with upward and an acute humanitarian crisis.
SNA soldiers and their allied AMISOM forces are in final preparation to launch an offensive to unlock the highway between Bula-Burde and Jalalaqsi towns.
Confirming the move to the local media, Liban Abdi Yarisow who is the Deputy Governor of Hiiraan regional administration on security affairs said their operation is intended to enable aid agencies deliver humanitarian assistance to the local residents who are currently in dire need of help.

How and yet the morale in the camp’s is too low due to unpaid allowances some accruing up to 9 months. What is the AU n AMISOM doing abt ths. They receive lots of money from donors meant for ths mission. To win the war against alshabaab, corruption must be won first.
