The General warned Al-Shabaab collaborators who dispense out Al-Shabab ideologies to the locals and create propaganda against the army forces saying they risk being wiped-out together with the enemy.
Anod further added that there were improvised explosive devices planted in the ground on military supply routes (MSR) targeted army forces and instead ends up hurting innocent residents.
The army General implored on the residents to cut links with the Al-Qaeda Islamists terrorists and work with the army forces by giving out information on Al-Shabaab and their operations. He urged the residents to view the army as a friend and not an enemy as Al-Shabaab makes them believe.
