Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan who is on a tour of the East African nations has blamed the western wealthy nations over Dadaab refugee double speak.
Erdogan accused west for failure to support developing countries cope up with global refugee’s crisis.
The Turkish president spoke in Nairobi Kenya when he visited the country. He noted that developing economies were almost solely bearing the burden to the poorer states especially the African states.
Kenya is home to over 600,000 refugees. Kenyan has maintained that it will close Dadaab camp by November 2016 and repatriate Somali refugees back to Somalia.
The move has received criticism from western states but Kenya has reiterated Dadaab will be closed as it is a threat to the Kenya’s national security.
The camp has harbored Somali-based terrorists who have conducted large scale attacks in the country.
