Army soldiers of Somali’s semi-autonomous Puntland State have wrestled pro-ISIS terrorists and took full control of the coastal town of Qandala in Bari region.
According military sources and referenced by the governor of Bari Yusuf Mohamed, Puntland began their offensive a week ago from different directions and cornering the ISIS terrorists.
Mohamed also added that the regional forces inflicted heavy loses with over 40 ISIS terrorists being killed in Somalia's Qandala coastal town in Puntland.
Puntland Army now in complete control of the port town 75 kilometers from the capital Bassaso.
The small unit of ISIS in Somalia now facing imminent death, being hunted down by Puntland forces and allied forces as well Al-Shabaab terrorists who were angered after Muumin from Al-Shabaab, an Al-Qaeda affiliate decamped to ISIS, a Middle East based terrorist group.
