Four armed thugs were on Thursday 11th August 2016 morning, gunned down by police at City Cabanas along the busy Mombasa road and two pistols with 24 round of ammunitions recovered.
According to police, the four are suspected criminals behind the killing of a Nairibi based businessman Paul Ngigi at his home in Kikuyu last month.
Confirming the incident, Head of Special Crime Prevention Unit, Noah Katumo, the killed suspects are part of a five man gang notorious between Thika and Nairobi.
Four of them were killed at 3.30 a.m Thursday as they tried to shoot at police officers, Katumo added.
