Police reports indicate that an armed robber was on Monday night gunned down by police in Makongei area of Nairobi County.
The robber was gunned down after he refused to surrender and started engaging police in a shootout.
Police report say, the gunned robber was in the company of three other accomplices. They are part of a gang attacking and robbing pedestrians on Nairobi’s Jogoo road.
Police launched manhunt on the accomplices who managed to escape on foot.
