7th January 2016, Counter-terrorism operations to hunt down the recent Mandera bus attackers have intensified with State offering Kenya Shillings 8 million reward for information that may lead to capturing of the four terror suspects.
The Mandera bus attack left two travellers dead and four others injured. The Makka bus was attacked by Al Shabaab militants on December 21 where Muslims travellers boldly shielded Christians brothers and sisters from being executed by defying militant jihadists to split them between religion lines.
The Somali based terrorists had planned to separate the passengers, free the Muslims and execute the Christians.
Al Shabaab militants have used the same strategy whereby in November 2014, attacked a bus en route from Mandera to Nairobi and killed 28 travellers who were non-Muslims.
Kenya’s security agents are urging members of the public to stay alert and anyone who might have valuable information that may help the apprehension of the published terror gang to report to the nearest police station.
The wanted terror suspects linked to the recent Mandera bus attack are identified as Abdullahi Dimbil Ahmed, Mohammed Osman Aliow, Mohammed Ahmed Farah and Abukar Mohammed Yunis.
