Somali government forces and African Union peacekeepers early Friday morning conducting security sweep in Buurdubo town arresting over 30 terror suspects.
Somali’s government official, Abdi Osman confirmed the Friday morning arrests by SNA and AMISOM in a joint operation. During the operation assortment weapons were also recovered.
The terror suspects are under police custody for interrogation with a view of getting more information from them that may lead to unearthing the militants operations in the area.
In another incident, Government troops backed by AU troops have retaken a key town from Al-Shabaab.
Toratorow lies about kilometers (55 miles) southwest of Somalia’s capital, Mogadishu.

The group has lost key strongholds in the south and central Somalia in the past three year but still wage hit and run attacks in main towns including Somali’s capital, Mogadishu.
