2,222 YPG/PKK-Daesh terrorists have been neutralized in the last one month since the launch of Operation Olive Branch in Syria’s northwestern Afrin region according to the Turkish military.
The Turkish authorities launched Operation Olive Branch to clear YPG/PKK-Daesh terrorists from Afrin on January 20th, 2018. The operation was aimed at securing Turkish borders and the region at large from the threat posed by militants and terrorist groups.
Also, the Turkish authorities destroyed hundreds of hideouts and training camps used by the terrorists.
