Verna McClain shot Kala Golden multiple times at the parking lot of Northwoods Pediatric Center and then sped off with Kala’s 3-day old son Keegan Schuchardt, police have established.
Theo McClain, Verna McClain husband is shocked that his estranged wife could commit such a crime. Corina Jackson, McClain’s sister was found in custody of the baby boy and told police that Verna had spoke of adopting her.
According to Theo McClain, Verna McClain was pregnant and she assured him she had delivered the baby at the suburban Houston Clinic, however, Verna had miscarried and took to killing Kala Golden.
Verna, is remorseful, police have told away, and the Northwoods Pediatric Center incident was a desperate move which she thought would bring her husband Theo McClain back.
According to her testimony and police findings, Kala Golden had taken her 3-day old son Keegan Schuchardt to the Northwoods Pediatric Center in Spring for a checkup.
At the parking lot of the clinic, Verna McClain parked her car next to Kala Golden’s, and as Kala placed the kid in her pickup truck, Verna shot her multiple times, snatched the baby and sped off leaving the dying woman screaming ‘my baby’…my baby!!’
