The sons of Muammar Gaddafi, the slain leader of Libya have no access to lawyers as their trials begin, Strategic Intelligence reports.
Saif al-Islam Gadhafi, his brother al-Saadi, former Gaddafi intelligence chief Abdullah al-Senussi, along with dozens of other former Gadhafi officials will be tried starting Monday by Libyan authorities.
OSINT on Saif al-Islam and Abdullah al-Senussi, the former Libyan Intelligence chief confirms that they have no lawyers to represent them let alone access to legal services.
It is an international practice and guarantee that a defendant is entitled to legal counsel.
This is a gross violation of human rights, and also a complication in the trial of the these former regime operatives.
Intelligence also shows that the Libyan government in Tripoli is not in the custody of Saif al-Islam further complicating the legal process and its credibility.
