A senior field commander of Tahrir al-Sham Hay’at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) was killed after unknown attackers opened fire at him in Southern Idlib on Monday.
Mohammad Kibar nom de guerre Abu Zeid, a field commander of Al-Nusra front (Al-Qaeda’s official branch in Syria), was assassinated by unidentified raiders believed to be from rival factions on a road connecting the village of Kafr Sanjah to the town of Kafr Nabl in Southern Idlib.
According to a field source, infighting between Tahrir al-Sham and Horras al-Deen is still underway over the French members of Horras trapped in the town of Harem in Southern Idlib.
The source further said that Tahrir al-Sham has dispatched a large number of gunmen to the village of Kansafrah in Southwestern Idlib.
A field source reported on Sunday that five French members of Horras al-Deen terrorist group were killed in clashes with Tahrir al-Sham Hay’at in Idlib province, adding that 45 more French terrorists have also come under siege by the rival group.
The source further reports that over 12 Tahrir al-Sham gunmen were also killed and several more were wounded in exchange of fire.
