Latest reports from Somalia show that military offensive against the Al-Qaeda branch in Jubba region continues.
The joint operation involving US commandos, Somali Special Forces and African Union peacekeepers was launched earlier this week with an aim of eliminating Al-Shabaab pockets in Jubba t region.
According to Somali National News Agency (SONNA), at least 25 Shabaab fighers have been confirmed killed in the operation carried out in several towns in Lower and Middle Jubba regions.
