Kenya defense forces will be using their newly acquired Mil M-28N attack helicopters, after four of these Russian made attack helicopters were commissioned for use at Laikipia Air Base, Kenya’s largest air base after their successful delivery.

Kenya defense forces procurement had ordered 16 of these ‘Havoc’-Mil M-28N attack helicopters and they were due for delivery by March 2012, however delays have been reported in scheduled delivery.
Kenya defense forces have massively re-armed and redefined their role as a regional force seen as the most capable and powerful army in East and Central Africa.
