Mihai Razvan Ungureanu, the Romanian Intelligence Chief has been named the country’s new Prime Minister after the resignation of Emil Boc over austerity cuts protests.
Romanian president Traian Basescu named Mihai Razvan Ungureanu Prime Minister on Monday.
Ungureanu is 43-year-old, Oxford master’s degree holder who served as a foreign minister in 2004.
He was Romania’s external intelligence service (SIE) since December 2007.
