More than 40 terror militants loyal to the Taliban group, including three of their local commanders, have been killed, following a series of joint Afghan and foreign coalition forces operations in the country’s eastern Ghazni province.
According to Afghan military sources, the air-and-ground operations conducted by joint Afghan and coalition forces over the last 24 hours, resulted in the deaths of 42 terror fighters and injuries of six others, in Giro, Andar, Deyakand Ab Band districts of the province.
Three local commanders of the militants identified as Obaida, Shuaib and Omari are among the killed terror operatives.
Arms and ammunitions as well as two cars and two motorcycles also seized from militants during the raids, according to the source.
