According to the Afghan military, a local leader of the Taliban group has surrendered to Afghan National Army (ANA) forces in the northern Baghlan province of Afghanistan. The Taliban local leader, Aslam, surrendered to the Afghan armed forces in Dande-e-Ghori district.
The source further added that Aslam has handed over a AK-47 assault rifle along with its five magazines to the Afghan armed forces.
The 209th Shaheen Corps of the ANA also added that Aslam handed over an AK-47 assault rifle along with five magazines.
The Taliban leader is said to have surrendered during an operation in Chashe Shir area of the district.
