Butte man Leroy Hopke tried to sell marijuana to an off duty officer and his wife only yo get himself arrested, police reports show.
Marijuana seller Leroy Hopke approached an off duty police officer and his wife as they left a store on Friday evening and offered to sell them pot.
The couple declined only for the officer to call in cops to arrest the marijuana trafficker, Leroy Hopke.
Leroy had no idea who is prospective customer is. And that rule “Know Your Customer” could have saved him.
Police charged Hopke with being in possession of dangerous drugs.
