The leader of al Qaeda-linked Khorasan group was killed in a U.S. air strike in Syrian, intelligence sources have verified.
There has been uncertainty over whether he survived the raid on 24th of September, Strategic Intelligence sources report.
On Sept. 24 the United States carried out an airstraike which officials believed killed Mohsin al-Fadhli, a senior al Qaeda operative.
On Sept. 27, a jihadist offered condolences for the death of Kuwaiti-born Fadhli, otherwise known as Abu Asmaa al-Kuwati or Abu Asmaa al-Jazrawi thus confirming the death.
