The Export-Import Bank of China will release money meant for the construction of Kenya’s standard gauge railway in a weeks time.
Kenya government officials have confirmed that construction of the high speed railway line from Mombasa to the mainland will start in 2 weeks.
Exim Bank will finance 90% of the project.
The Construction of the line is estimated to cost Sh340 billion ($4 billion) as the main contractor China Road & Bridge Corporation quoted.
