Kenya Police issued on Sunday issued an alert on three wanted terror suspects and urged the public to help the law enforcement agencies with any information that may aid their arrests.
The statement also had attached photos of the three suspects whom were described as armed and dangerous. The police also called on the three to surrender themselves.
Authorities also called on public who suspect that their relatives or acquaintances could have joined jihadi groups, are planning to travel to jihadi theatres, or have returned from countries known to harbor jihadists to report to the nearest police station immediately for action.
The statement also indicated that police has already started taking legal action on individuals who have failed to report on their associates and relatives who have joined jihadi organisations.
Since 2011 when Kenya sent its troops Somalia to fight against Al-Shabaab fighters, the country suffered attacks from the Somali based jihadist group as retaliatory for the incursion.
