President Uhuru Kenyatta on Wednesday began preparations ahead of Kenya hosting the 10th session of the World Trade Organization (WTO) conference.
Kenya is expected to host the conference from 15th to 18th December 2015. This will be the first time the conference will take place on the African soil under the leadership of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
President Uhuru Kenyatta has so far been congratulated by international organizations and bodies for expanding Kenya’s relations with other countries.
Under his leadership, Kenya has expanded her economic wings to international countries bringing in investors to East Africa’s economic hub-Kenya.

Hosting the World Trade Organization (WTO) conference in Kenya is set to benefit the East Africa region and the African continent. It is a clear indication of a binding commitment of the WTO members and the International Community to ensure that Africa fits in the Multilateral Trading Systems (MTS).
Through the conference, Kenya will be able to demonstrate her hospitality to the international community and guests intending to focus on Kenya in terms of conference tourism.
Conference tourism in Kenya is rapidly growing as the country is equally ensuring that related facilities are in place. The Kenyatta International Conference Centre in Nairobi has provided this service for workshop, conferences and conventions.
