One of the Kenya Security services agent who spoke to Al-Jazeera television network has been identified, police and intelligence source in Kenya have confirmed.
Intelligence sources confirm that at least one of the three unnamed security sources who appeared as silhouettes in Al Jazeera’s program, entitled “Inside Kenya’s Death Squads”, had already been identified by the authorities.
Legal action will be taken against these security officers for exposing the country to threats besides aiding terrorists wage information war on Kenya.
Government may prefer treason charges on those found guilty.
According to Kenya authorities, the Kenyan government does not have death squads rather the police are mandated to protect Kenyans, not to kill them.
Categorically, the government of Kenya denied that it has never had a death squad within the police.
