CRIME BRIEF
NAIROBI: A Kenya police elite unit on Monday 22nd February 2016 gunned down five gangsters in Survey area along Thika Superhighway.
Nairobi County Commander Japheth Koome confirmed the incident but did not give out much detail since the police officers were still pursuing more criminals.
Initial reports indicate that the gangsters were on a robbery mission in Highridge.
Police officers recovered an AK 47 rifle, two pistols and a car they were using during the botched robbery.
