A sensational article in a leading newspaper in the republic of Kenya besides some expected investigative reports to be aired by local television stations are alarming.
The report claims that the 2013 general elections in which president Uhuru Kenyatta won were rigged and that the government then had sent intelligence officials to infiltrate the IEBC Kenya.
- IEBC Kenya quietly reduced the number of polling stations from 33,400 to 32,000 claims the report.
- Registers used in the elections were not the ones the IEBC Kenya published.
- The IEBC Commission management structure was infiltrated.
- That the IEBC electronic transmission system was also infiltrated.
This information was passed to an ODM sympathizer by a senior official of the IEBC who was advising the CORD operative on the best strategy to win a case in court.
These media reports come when the ICC has orchestrated events requiring 8 witnesses who had refused to testify in Deputy William case to appear at the court in Hague Netherlands and testify.
Also these sensational reports come just after the ICC has ordered the government of Kenya to provide the prosecution with bank statements of President Uhuru Kenyatta during the 2007 election period.
