The Kenya army rankings are likely to get better in a 5 year outlook.
The Republic of Kenya is the major commercial and technology hub in East and Central Africa.
The country joined the middle income countries rank in 2015.
Nairobi’s economic growth is steady upwards. Its outlook is good and likely to double in 2017-2018 fiscal year.
To support such gains, a stronger military is desired.
Currently ranking among the top 5 most strong armies in Africa, Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) budget will hit$$5-billion by 2018 surpassing key African countries.
Advancing way ahead of others in Africa will complement KDF’s capability to defend and secure Kenya’s borders, besides peace keeping in the continent.
Already the Kenya air-force, navy, and army are restructuring and rearming to remain apt and capable to counter increasing threats and complex regional dynamics.
