Reports from Somalia indicate that KDF has continued to bombard Al-Shabaab targets in southern Somalia in their intensified aerial campaigns.
The latest raid reports indicate that Kenyan fighter jets killed 10 Al-Shabaab terrorists’ including four senior commanders near Tulo-Barwaaqo village in Gedo region, south Somalia on Thursday 25th February 2016, military source confirmed.
Tulo-Barwaaqo is an Al-Shabaab controlled locality close to Kenya-Somalia border.
A senior Somali army officer in Gedo confirmed the incident saying KDF jets pounded on Al-Shabaab base in Tulo-Barwaaqo village that lies in the outskirts of Garbaharey, Gedo’s capital city.
Osman Abdullahi Hajji, SNA military commander identified four Al-Shabaab militants killed in the Thursdays airstrikes saying the militant were caught by air fire as they were having a secret meeting. Two of the slain Al-Shabaab commanders identified as Abdullah Hussein Hassan and the other as Luqman.
The Somali based Islamists Al-Shabaab terrorists group is staring at complete decimation in South Somalia as KDF operations intensify.
