OSINT SUMMARY
June 7, 2016, Al-Shabaab terrorists were repulsed by KDF in Busar camp, outside Elwak area of Gedo in Somalia.
Latest military reports indicate that Al-Shabaab tried to attack KDF military camp but before they could even get close were countered by scouts and sentries manning the base.
The incident that happened on Monday night lasted about three minutes. The militants fled the area after being overwhelmed.
KDF did not suffer any casualty in the would-be attack by the Al Qaeda linked Al-Shabaab.
Elwak town located in Gedo region, south west of Somalia still harbors Al-Shabaab elements.
