KDF Launches Airstrikes In El Wak, Gedo Region, Dozens Of Al Shabaab Killed

Kenya Defense Forces fighter jets launched a major air campaign against Al Shabaab camps in El Wak in southern Somalia. The militant camps targeted by KDF airstrikes have been used to mount attacks on the Somali National Army and AMISOM troops near the Kenya-Somalia border.

INTREP confirm that the KDF fighter jets fired several air-surface missiles that hit the intended targets inflicting major losses on the enemy side. The Kenya Airforce has backed the ground troops on numerous occasions to attack and defeat enemy combatants in Somalia.

KDF is yet to confirm the number of casualties but according to local residents, dozens of al Shabaab militants were killed.
