Jubbaland forces announced that it will continue with an onslaught against the Al-Qaeda branch in Somalia without involving other international partners in the mission.
According to Jubaland State President Ahmed Mohamed Islam Madoobe, Jubbaland security forces are ready to eliminate and pacify the remaining Al-Shabaab held areas in the region without AMISOM and the U.S. forces.
He however welcomed the local residents to join hand with the forces to double the fight against Al-Shabaab and eventually defeated their common enemy destabilizing the country.
