Tuesday, 10th December 2019, Jubaland security forces have arrested a terror suspect over the killing murder of a soldier in Kismayo last week.
According to Military Intelligence assets from Kismayo, the suspect was arrested following an operation by agencies after he shot dead, Mohamed Yare and took his AK 47 firearm.
The firearm of the murdered soldier has so far been recovered and the suspected terror operative will be arraigned in court to answer manslaughter charges.
Last month, Jubaland state security forces arrested two men while planting an IED with an intention of killing security forces and civilians in the vicinity of Kismayo.
The armed group Al-Shabaab frequently carry out attacks that target members of the Somali security agencies and their allied partners across the country.
