In a statement released from his office he cited an invite from Kenya President Uhuru Kenyatta in his recent trip to Israel among other leaders as the reason behind his visiting Africa.

His visit is set to coincide with an upcoming 40th anniversary of the raid at Entebbe (of an Israeli operation in July 1976 that freed hostage aboard a plane hijacked by Palestinians) in Uganda that led to his brother Yonatan’s death.
His visit schedule which has not been officially released detailing the other countries he would be visiting apart from Kenya. His visit to Kenya was prompted after her President Uhuru Kenyatta extended a visit invite on his recent trip to Israel.
Israel assured African nation of support and a partner in Israel which has been viewed as isolated. The partnership will prove very fundamental as Israel has had the same challenges especially in terms of security, Agriculture among other sectors as most African countries are currently experiencing.
Netanyahu has exerted his support to Africa to aid in defeating the Islamic terrorism he said, “Islamic terrorism is the world’s greatest challenge, and it threatens the entire African continent, Netanyahu said. Its nexus is in the Middle East but it is rapidly spreading, he said, adding, “It can be stopped if nations threatened by it make common cause”. (Sic)
Israel has extended its support to Africa as a continent and forged individual relationships with states on matters health, science, agriculture, military training, defense, tourism and cyber technology- which Israel is greatly advanced in.
