Dozens of ISIS wives have been sentenced to death in Iraq many who had been ousted by ISIS after their husbands died in battle.
They were given 10 minutes to argue their case in which they claimed that they too were victims of ISIS.
The Iraqi judiciary and locals had little sympathy for them and are deeply despised for their support of their militant husbands who tore the country apart in 2014 and 2017.
Last month French woman citizen Djamila Boutoutao, claimed that she thought she had married a rapper and discovered he was jihadi shorty after they arrived in Iraqi.
She reappeared in court again last week alongside 14 other women, where she begged to keep hold of her daughter.
There is an estimated 1,900 French citizens, and 40,000 foreigners who have traveled to join ISIS’s caliphate in Iraq and Syria.
