At least four terrorists affiliated with ISIS Khurasan were killed in their own Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Kunar province of Afghanistan.
According to the 201st Silab Corps of the Afghan Military, the militants were blown up when the IED they intended to uses in an attack exploded prematurely.
A statement released by 201st Silab indicates that the incident took place in the vicinity of Pech Dara district of Kunar province.
The statement further added that the explosion took place while the militants were on the process of transferring and planting the IED in Kalaigal area of the district when it exploded killing 6 of the terrorists.
Humiliated anti-government armed militant groups including ISIS-K loyalists have not commented regarding the incident.
Kunar is among the relatively volatile provinces in East of Afghanistan where both ISIS-K and Taliban terrorists are active in some of its districts.
