The Islamic States terrorists in Democratic Republic of Congo (IS- Central Africa) killed 12 people by beheading them at an area located along the Mbau-Kamango Road, in Beni, North Kivu.
The group issued a statement claiming it attacked claiming it attacked a Congolese army barracks in Andama, in Beni. Approximately 3 soldiers were killed, according to SOCMINT & OSINT. Loss of considerable amount of weapons and ammunition to the terrorists was confirmed.
The group killed 3 Congolese soldiers and injured 5 others in Kamango town near Uganda border on April 18th. This confirms our recent predictive analysis of IS strategy is focused on enlarging of its operations in Africa. These events further show the group is focusing on having a hegemony in East & Central Africa.
