Intensified operations against Al Shabaab in Kismayo have led to the arrest of several Al Shabaab suspects in Kismayo.
Interim Jubba Administration (IJA) forces have been conducting this massive security sweep in Kismayo town and areas around it, for last 24 hours.
The operation which is aimed at beefing up security of the capital administrative IJA Kismayo will see to it that the remaining days of the holy month of Ramadhan are concluded in a more peaceful manner.
Credible human intelligence in Somalia confirm that the security forces of IJA have been patrolling every corner of the town.
However, there could be some changes on how Somali residents will be conducting their day to day activities due to night-time curfew instituted by the administration of Jubbaland.
The operation is also set to affect movement of people and public vehicles, especially during the night due to strict security measures put in place.
